The Carleton Office for Research Initiatives and Services (CORIS) helps university, community, foundation and government partners connect with Carleton researchers on grant-funded research projects and awards.
CORIS provides expert advice and support to the Carleton community throughout all stages of the lifecycle of research grants, prizes and distinctions. CORIS assists researchers with identifying funding and distinction opportunities, supports proposal and nomination development and provides post-award management.
CORIS encompasses a core group of dedicated research professionals who serve all faculties and departments, and who offer complimentary services, skills and knowledge to our satellite disciplinary research experts who are located in the faculties.
CORIS can support you by:
- identifying research funding opportunities, including grants and prizes or awards.
- providing support during the proposal/nomination development process, including substantive reviews of applications prior to submission.
- liaising with sponsors and other stakeholders throughout the project.
- providing post-award support in the management of research funding and clarifying sponsor terms and conditions.
