Community-Engaged Learning: The Politics of Food
Carleton’s Politics of Food course urges students to analyze policies and solutions related to Canadian food insecurity.
In 2018, the course integrated a community-engaged learning program. This program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Political Science and the Student Experience Office (SEO). The course gives students the chance to contribute to their community by lending a helping hand to one of three local organizations: In From the Cold, The Ottawa Mission or The Ottawa Food Bank.
